Winter Natural Dye + Shibori Workshop

Do you want to learn how to create naturally dyed textiles using plants, leaves and nuts? This is the workshop for you. Students will explore dyeing  with winter harvest materials combined with a variety or stitching and bundling techniques. 

NO EXPERIENCE necessary - perfect for all skill levels

In this workshop student will: 

Learn a variety of Shibori techniques to create shapes, and patterns, from simple to very complex. Examine the source of natural dye color, and their special and unique dye properties.

See demonstrations of techniques for stitching + bundling to creating various effects with Shibori techniques.

Create their own natural dyed organic textile using seasonal organic plant material including local + native nuts and leaves.
